How do you ensure quality of your cleaners?
Every week we receive around 100 calls from London cleaners who want to work with us. We personally interview the potential candidates to ensure they are polite, professional and suitable to work to our very high standards. We check their identity thoroughly, and ask for two checkable references from every person. Only a handful of applicants make it through to becoming office and domestic cleaners with us, ensuring that our staff are of the highest quality and competent to do your job perfectly.
How must does it cost?
We work hard to keep the prices for all our professional cleaning services as low as possible. The exact price of your job will depend on what you want done, but you are welcome to get in touch for a quote, and will not be obliged to use our services by doing this.
Can I specify the day and the time that the cleaner comes?
We make every effort to accommodate the needs of our customers, and as such you will be able to specify your preferred date and time for the cleaning to take place. We know this is especially important for office cleaning in London, as many businesses will not want the disruption of a cleaner working while there are still staff in the building.
Who pays the cleaner for their work?
You are responsible for paying our London cleaners yourself upon satisfactory completion of the work. Our hourly rates are some of the lowest in the business, with regular customers paying just £10.95 per hour for our professional cleaning services. How long will I have to wait for a cleaner?
Our domestic cleaners work all over London, so we hope to be able to find someone suitable very quickly for you. If you are in an emergency situation we can often respond swiftly to help with your problem. Call us to find out more.
What if your cleaner doesn’t turn up?
Because of our rigorous screening process, situations like this rarely occur. Our cleaners are pleased to have got a position with our company, and will be reluctant to jeopardise their contract with us by being late or not arriving at all. However, in the rare case that you are let down, contact us straight away and we’ll find you a replacement cleaner as soon as possible.
What happens if my cleaner cannot come or if I go on holiday?
If you are unable to keep your appointment with one of our London cleaners, either because you are on holiday or the cleaner is ill, please let us know and we will ensure you are not charged for that day.
Who is responsible for providing the cleaning products and materials?
For our regular domestic cleaners, we expect the client to provide basic cleaning materials and equipment for the cleaner in the home. You are also responsible for arranging access to your property for the cleaning personnel. For other professional cleaning services, such as carpet cleaning or steam cleaning, we will bring the materials with us.
What happens if I am not happy with the service you have provided?
If you are not completely satisfied with the work your cleaner has done, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. We will endeavour to send a replacement cleaner to your property as swiftly as we can, and will make every effort to put things right so that you are 100% satisfied with the service you have received.
Is there anything the cleaners cannot clean?
We aim to provide a holistic cleaning service, but there are some things our London cleaners will not be able to touch. We do not get involved in deep cleaning of valuable, delicate or antique items; you will need a specialist to take care of that. We also do not undertake external window cleaning, as this requires different licenses and equipment because of the height involved.
What does the insurance cover?
Perfect Cleaner has public liability insurance, which protects you for major damages over £1000 in value. This means your carpet, sofa and other high value items are protected from accidental damage by your cleaner. Our insurance does not cover bleach spills, so please do not ask your cleaner to use bleach in your home.
